Then we packed up and spent most of the day driving through Virginia, from the top northeast corner to almost the very southwest tip, pretty much just following the many valleys of the Appalachian mountains. The highlight was stopping to charge and finding a cute little hiking trail behind the superchargers, where we eventually found these little alien looking seed-pod plants

Our last stop of the day was just over the boarder in Tennessee to grab a burrito and charge up. It was 55 degrees out and we heard a song sparrow singing.
Total time driving: 7 hours, 45 minutes
Total distance: 523 miles (400 of them in Virginia)
Time spent stopped/charging 1 hour, 40 minutes
Total cost of charging: $22
Best thing Vanessa saw today: the hilly farmland of Virginia with lots of grass and cows
Isn't that the seed pod for the "Little Shop of Horrors" plant? Watch out!
